We decided this year to check out the stock show rodeo and grounds. Everyone was really excited, but sadly, it seemed we picked the worst day of the week to go! We went on a Tuesday night, which we found out was bad because they were cleaning out all the animal areas and thus had NO animals for the kids to see. Also, a really bad ice storm was blowing in, which made it cold and a little treacherous on the ride home! We had a good driver to get us home safely.
The only animal we saw was Elsie the Cow and her calf. The kids loved that and Ashley was excited she had finally met a cow "that makes chocolate milk."
