RV Camping in Olympic Peninsula #2

For our Washington portion of the Alaska trip, we decided to try out renting an RV. We wanted to explore all over the Olympic Peninsula and thought an RV might be the way to go. Indeed, we had a fabulous time hiking and driving around the beautiful area, enjoyed the convenience of having our "hotel" right with us, and will definitely do it again sometime!

Here are some pictures from inside the RV. It was nice having a fridge and kitchen to cook meals, a table to entertain on, and heat/ac when we needed it at night. We all slept pretty comfortably as well. The kids LOVED sleeping up top.

Outside our RV campsite in Port Towsend. We were right on the water.

We explored Anacortes and Port Townsend with Josh's parents, brother Parker, and my niece Maddie. The kids had a fabulous time spending time with their cousin Maddie. She was a great entertainer for them as well!

I think a multi-family trip in 2-3 RVs would be really fun!

An RV does sound like lots of fun! Grace still talks about the trailer we stayed in while in Valdez. We'll have to do an RV for sure!
